And in the SEO world backlinks are of utmost importance for getting traffic to your website and getting a good page rank for your website and web pages as well.

Backlink, which are links coming from other websites/blogs back to your own, are also called inward or inbound links.

Two factors establish the link quality -one is the authority(Page Rank) of the site that links to and second is the anchor text.Try to get backlinks from high PR websites of your niche and use keywords for linking.
